Last Tuesday I ran a competition on BlogSire's Games Palace. I named it Top Gun and the winner would be the one with the highest score on Asteroids 2, and would win $5. The whole purpose of the exercise was to try and drum up more business as you had to be a member for the site to record the score I had hoped more people would join. Well the competition runs out tomorrow and I would say it's pretty safe to say it was a failure.
Perhaps it would be better to offer a larger prize, but heck that would be like paying them to join. It was an interesting exercise. I think I will try it again after Christmas, and maybe even advertise it on more sites.
