New Money Making Venture Involving People Search

I would like to promote my latest post over at WassupBlog. It's about the potential to make money on the search for people phenomena is all about one such system which I think could be a real winner. Did you know that 30% of Google searches are people search related? There's lot's of reason that people resort to Google, it could be anything from finding a long lost friend to that asshole that skipped town without paying what he owed you.

Is it a scam? I don't think so, partly because Tissa Godavitarne, the guy that started it all goes so far as to paste his IRS Form 1099, required by law to report income, on the Net as well as giving contact details. As you know most scam artists publish false details so that they can not be traced.

They have a forum that very busy, and they are all out to help each other, paying it forward, and you may find that this complete Beginners Guide may provide some useful information as to how it works and how dedicated they are.

Anyway, I'm giving it a whirl and although there is a free option I've decided to go for the paid version, only 10 bucks per month which is basically a hosting package via Global Domains so that I could have my own domain, thereby giving me added advantages for promotion, such as choosing the right keywords. I urge you to take a look at my people search engine Sires People Search, so that you can see exactly what I am talking about. Don't worry the landing page is completely harmless and I won't make a dime from you having a look.

Like I said, I've only just started promoting this, and I wouldn't even be promoting it if I thought it was suss, but if I find that it's not completely legit you can be assured that I will be posting about it.

If you have any questions please leave a comment.

Squidoo Lens, A Great Way To Inform And Market

This is just a quick post about my first Squidoo page. Although I actually started a lens almost two years ago, it wasn’t until I actually had the need to bring it to the final stage of publishing that I finally completed it. I’ve explained the reason for doing that in my Necessity The Mother Of Invention And How It Relates To Blogs where it explains how people find a way to do things when there is a specific need for getting it done. In my case the need was to help promote and market a new venture I was getting into.

I would dare to say that most of you may be familiar with Squidoo, but for those of you who aren't all that familiar with it I would highly recommend that you check it out. If you take my lens, that's what they call them, as an example you will see how I've used it to promote several of the posts on my blogs. This gives those posts extra link juice, as Squidoo is highly respected by the major search engines, as well as the good possibility of sending targeted traffic to those posts. We all know how important targeted traffic can be.

So, if you haven't seen my lens yet why not go on over and have a look, if for no other reason than to see how handsome I am :D

Zemanta's Mozilla AddOns A Blogger's Best FriendIs

Mozilla FirefoxImage via WikipediaI have used Zemanta on my Wordpress blogs for awhile now and I reckon that it is one of the most useful blogging tools ever because it makes the life of a blogger so much easier. It does this my finding post related images and links that you can add to your post with a simple click. Truth be told I wasn't too worried about how it would work on other platforms because they didn't interest me as I had my Wordpress plugin.

How remiss of me not to think of those poor bloggers who wanted to use other blogging platforms such as the following;

# Blogger
# TypePad
# Wordpress.com
# LiveJournal
# Movable Type

Lucky for them that Zemanta hadn't forgotten them and had incorporated a fantastic Mozilla Firefox AddOn I was fortunate enough to come across this thanks to a comment on my Zemanta Is Truly A Useful Blogging Tool and thanks to Jure, who left the comment, I am now able to use it on this blog as well.

So, if you have an English blog and haven't installed this Mozilla AddOn I seriously suggest you pull your finger out and get a move on.

Get Your Stylish Prescription Glasses From ZenniOptical.com

It's too bad that the styles of prescription glasses that are available now through sites such as ZenniOptical.com were not available 30 odd years ago when I got my first pair of glasses. Life would certainly have been a lot less stressful and I would not have had to put up with all that 'four eyes' name calling that my peers had landed me with.

It wouldn't have cost me as much either as ZenniOptical.com run specials all the time like the current one that gets you stylish Prescription Glasses Online from $8! That is truly amazing. The fact that they have a whole selection of styles, frames, with single vision lens, sunsensor (potochromic)lens, tinted sunglasses lens, bifocal lens and progressive lens puts them right up there with the best, and the reason that they are so competitive is that they sell only their own manufactured frames direct to the customer thereby cutting out the middleman.

Photos 2 Blog Well On The Way

In only a matter of weeks it seems that my latest blog, Photos 2 Blog is well on its way. I must say that out of all my blogs I am quite enjoying posting in it. One of the reasons for this is that it allows me to get more exposure for my photos through Phototrade that will hopefully, in time, increase its earning potential.

This is not my first photo blog as that place belongs to Scenic Adelaide, but that is more of a niche blog and therefore it is more restrictive. Photos 2 Blog has the potential to cover a lot more areas and will, hopefully in time, get more exposure through the search engines.

Shopwiki.com Giving You The Best Ever Shopping Experience

Finally, someone who has revolutionized shopping on the Internet. While normal shopping guides will only show you stores that are self owned or have paid to be part of the store listing, Shopwiki.com works much like Google. You type in the search term you are looking for and press enter and off it goes finding all the stores that have that particular item.

Say for example we are looking for an Xbox360 all you need do is log on to Shopwiki.com type in Xbox360 and off she goes. It is really neat as you can refine the search by stipulating price or even color and then sit back while this marvel of modern technology does the rest.

Not interested in the Xbox? Now worries, just type in PS3 and watch as it takes you to the stores that stock this Playstation 3 and accessories. Really, even though you can search by categories by listing the directory, why would you want to, unless you are a woman who just loves to shop.

Just think about it. You now are able to search the net with absolute ease which enables you to find the absolute best deal on the product of choice. Now that is what I call the totally best ever shopping experience.

Neigbors In Sunnyvale California Involved In Green Revolution

It seems that the so called 'green' revolution may cause a bit of animosity between neighbors. The following news clip is of two neighbors in Sunnyvale California who ended up in court over a neighbor complaining that the others trees were blocking the suns rays from his solar panels, panels that were installed way after the trees had grown.

Seems to me the courts got it wrong.

Looking For Modern Furniture

There would have to be so many different tastes as far as furniture is concerned but I reckon that a lot of people are going for MODERN FURNITURE! I suppose the main reason for this is because we live in a modern world and so many people just want to keep up with the times.

Now, if you would dearly like to check out some really modern or contemporary furniture for your home or office you should have a look at spacify.com. They have it all, indoor, outdoor, you name it they have it and what better way to have a look than from your own home away from push salesmen, while you are online.

Two New Blogs For My Collection

I didn't think I would ever start up another two new blogs but I did but with these two I thought that I would have a bit of fun. The first was Scenic Adelaide which is basically a photo blog of Adelaide, the city that I love and it's surrounding districts. Where possible I will try to add a bit of historical or other informative information.

The other, What A Load Of Bullshit, will try to expose whatever crap I can come up with. Hopefully I will get some readers who will appreciate my style of writing.

Some Cheap Car Insurance Tips

~~~
I can not stress strongly enough how important it is to take out insurance policies on your assets such as your car, home or even your life. The little bit you pay to insure these is well worth it because if you something ever happens at least you know you are covered.
Even though it is possible to get cheap car insurance it is best to shop around to get the best deal possible. When comparing insurance quotes make sure that you compare policies and not just price. Even though one cover may be cheaper than another, you want to make sure that you are not missing out on anything and you should certainly check what your excess is.
It is also a good idea to get your insurance from one company if possible as a lot of companies offer discount to those that take out multiple insurance policies. If you are not sure if they do, make sure you ask.
Channel Nine Underhanded?
When the PM Mr. Howard agreed to a debate he did so on the condition that the 'worm' was not used. The live "worm" is a graph monitoring the reactions of a group swing voters. Channel nine decided to run the debate and the live worm, but because it contravened Howard's wishes they had their feed cut twice before they could hook up a signal to Sky News.
Nine's news chief John Westacott was pretty upset at the news feed being cut calling it an "outrageous act of censorship". He admits that, "we were asked not to use the worm, that's correct, and we didn't agree with any of the conditions that were laid down by the press club."
All the same knowing the conditions and flouting them was pretty childish if you asked me and as far as I was concerned the worm was pretty bloody useless and detracted from the debate. If I had known the debate was on channel 2 I would have changed the station.
Naturally you have to be a member for the score to register and have a PayPal account in order to collect the cash.
Getting The Right Vacation Information For A Good Holiday
Believe me, if you do not do your homework, which is really preparation work, in any project you take on you are not only making things hard for yourself, you are also going to cost yourself a lot of unecessary expense, not to mention time and possible heartache. Let us say, just as an example, that you wanted to do up your kitchen using a do it yourself kit. If you were just going to buy any old kit and try to install it, you would be up for huge problems and added expense.
The same would also apply for when you decide to go on a vacation, and believe me, if you didn't do the proper planning for your kitchen you would be needing one by now, although you may no longer be able to afford it. Getting the right vacation information is essential no only to save yourself money but to make sure you have a great time. Fortunately you can get all this vacation information online so there is absolutely no excuse for doing your homework.
If I were you I would get in quick.
Reviews As An SEO Tactic
It's fairly obvious why advertisers are willing to pay bloggers to write posts about their sites. Sure they may expect a bit of extra traffic that may be generated by the blogs but I don't believe this is the real reason.
The real reason is can be summed up in one word. Google! I believe it's all to do with gaining the best search engine position possible. After all this is where the real traffic will come from. Why else do they ask posters to use specific keywords and many advertisers offer the same task with different keywords.
Knowing that this may well be true, you would think that many bloggers would be willing to swap reviews as a form of link swapping. Sure you won't get the prized one way links but then it's a free service that is being offered and one that all bloggers should make use of. It's better than having a huge blogroll and also come in handy for using them as filler posts between paid posts. I have been doing reviews for awhile ans have noticed a marked increase in my Technorati ranking as well as a greater number of visitors. As an SEO tactic, it's one I recommend to all bloggers.
Opticsplanet.com For All Your Star Gazing Needs
~~~
What the hell do you get for someone who has everything. Well it’s obvious that because of the way modern technology is always coming up with something new, your best be would be the latest technological gadget like the Meade MySKY that you can get at meade telescopes. This has got to be one of the hottest gadgets out.

The Meade MySKY is not only great for the astronomer or student who is interested in all things celestial, but at only $29.95 it’s a fantastic little gadget for the person who has everything. It comes with a color LCD screen and is even able to control a computerized Meade telescope. It’s a fun point and shoot hand-held device that allows you to explore the night sky and is able to identify over thirty thousand celestial objects. It’s even better than dragging an astronomer with you.

Beer Dispensing Computer

I've always known that there would be other uses for computers than the normal crunching of numbers, getting your email or even playing games. It just needed someone who was able to think out of the box.

FixedComputer

Yep, that is definitely one that will appeal to most men and even some women if it would keep their man out of the local pub. It sure would be a great conversation starter. I just have to find out where I can get one for myself.
